ICs bug? Oversight? Idk but it's a thing

When I desync fsmash with nana she always fsmashes in the direction popo is facing instead of the direction I want her to. i.e. backwards. She also dtilts when I cstick down sometimes.
Also if anyone cares I just now might be trying to play ICs since I do in melee so that's exciting. I'll be trying to just push the meta forward primarily.
