Volleyball Matchmaking:

1. Discord. Melee Online and M-ex discords both have active matchmaking channels for Volleyball! Also WC to EC connections work great on 2F!
2. Look on Twitch to see if anyone's playing Volleyball, you can see by thumbnail and title
3. smash.gg tournaments. You can search Volleyball, or go through the Upcoming Melee tournaments
4. Look below at my power rankings player list, you can find some of these players on discord or twitch to play!
5. For the latest v6 ISO, click here to go to the github download (Currently v0.51e and v6 is most used)

Guide to practicing Volleyball:

1. Solo practice with savestates for openers is huge. Use Shift F1 and other F2/F3 keys in versus mode to create a savestate, and then just press F1/F2/F3 to Load the savestate. Clip Example
2. Practice defense and reacting to fast ball rallies in friendlies. some good options to try: Spacie/Sheik bair, dashatk, and ftilt.
3. You can also practice defense with savestates, but you either need to TAS Input or use a 2nd controller. Here's an example clip of Goomy defending against Ganon Punch
4. Try out different chars so you don't get cheesed by not knowing their unique angles! Angle knowledge is super important, it's what people in Lethal League focus on.
5. here's a great video with some openers for every single char, credits to ducc from EU!

imo Falco is kinda op, and every char needs to think about how to counter him and his shine bair/dair setups.
I'd like to see tournaments start requiring multi-char in sets, similar to an Iron Man challenge. More on that below.

Here's a link to my smash.gg page, I've placed 1st in like 5 tourneys so far, and my Falco is undefeated in sets.
Offering $5 to the first person who can beat my Falco in a Bo3 with a non-falco!

The Future of Competition: Multi-char sets (aka Iron Man)

Since Falco is so strong with seemingly no counter for some of the lower tier chars, I suggest a new tournament set format for more variety and longevity:

• Bo5's, with every game requiring you to play a different char. This means you need to learn 3-5 chars for sets. For example, the chars im practicing: Falco, Sheik, Fox, DK, Pika, GnW

• This will improve competition variety, instead of having Falco 50/50 mixups in every finals which I've started to see and fear. Low tier knowledge will also be more viable, since Falco previously invalidated a ton of low tier openers.

• I'm thinking of hosting a Multi-char / Iron Man vball tourney, but the CLG vball tourney just got announced, so maybe I'll wait to see how that goes. also if I was TO, I'd just ban puff lol
