So I just saw Cabin in the Woods, and from the way everyone is talking about it, you'd think Joss had written, directed, and produced the whole thing all by himself. But Drew Goddard is the co-writer and primary director of the film. Yes, I'm sure Joss had tons of input and his mark is all over the film, plus he was second unit director, but people are giving Goddard pretty much zero credit for this movie, which kind of bugs me. He's a good writer, who worked on Buffy and Angel, and he deserves credit for what he did by people who like the movie. I'm as much of a Whedon fan as anyone (although there are certain recurring problems his work has), but can we give Goddard some love please?
