I rewatched the Disney version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame for the first time since it came out.
Post Body
Darkest Disney movie ever! Y/y? I mean, I know it had a happy ending, but jiminy christmas bicscuits, this movie is so not for children! Who greenlit this thing and thought, "Yeah, here's a great story kids will love!" Adding some talking gargoyles does not magically make this a kids movie.
I do have to say that I probably appreciated it more on this view through than I did when I was 11 but DAMN.
