SPT to live

Anybody go from learning the game on SPT and then transition to live?
I basically started this game with just SPT. I’m old with a family and the QOL mods made this game so fun for me. However, I wonder if I’m missing out on something by not trying to play live.
I do love PVP but I would most likely suck bad in live and I’m also worried I would struggle tremendously without some of the QOL mods I’ve come to enjoy.
