you need to band together and decide on a date on which to black-out all of your services. this will raise mass amounts of awareness and if you put a link to a petition site on your 404 then it will get lots of signatures.

you would be forever remembered as the people who opposed sopa, so it would be a very brave thing to do. and if enough sites did it then you wouldn't lose out on users and sopa would essentialy be out the window.

if you even bother to do this, then don't tell anyone when you chose to black-out. do it randomly synchronised across all of your sites.

and if you're worried about losing money from loss of ad revenue then keep in mind that SOPA would lose you lots more money in comparison.
