My fellow monke sapiens... my opposable-thumb-wielding, iphone-operating, faint-blue-light-mesmerized-hairy-allies. I have to say a few things that might not be comfortable but are true.
I have been reading comments here for some time. I have noticed that a lot of you are making seriously risky calls with money you should NOT be chucking endlessly into this. Everything has the utmost potential to fail, even things we believe in, and that's ok. Despite this, you are becoming uncomfortable with the notion of your money depreciating. When you purchase a stock, you need to make sure that you have money on hand to handle your life shit. Think you got four wheels on your car? THINK AGAIN. After you determine what you could comfortably lose if Murphy's Law rang true, that is what you invest. Not your emergency savings. Not the stuff you would need to get you out of a bind. If you have EXCESS, you invest. If you do not have excess, you pursue excess.
Many people are saying that the timeframe is going to be on a two or three-year scale. Changes will be based on company performance, which is released every quarter as far as I understand. Looking at your screen every single day and hoping, that for some bizarre reason, Tuesday, June 22nd was the day you just woke up a millionaire is a reach. No announcements. No data releases. Just that all of a sudden, the demand for a long-term penny stock would skyrocket 'to orbit'. Let's learn to fly first comrades, no? Then the defeatism... my god, boys. Held at .92 for two days, then .89 today, a downturn of THREE CENTS while prices all over are falling too. Woe all around. "I don't think I believe in this stock anymore..." Grow up for the rest of us, and I mean that with respect. You are on our team. You are with us. You are making investments that we ALL hope will all pay off for everyone involved. So do not despair publicly when a PENNY STOCK (seriously go look that up if you don't fully understand the concept) fluctuates (as they are known to do). You will do more damage to your own money. Something very important, I have learned, is to mentally compartmentalize the different aspects of your finances. The money you possess is what you have accessible. As soon as it leaves your hands to turn into stock, you need to imagine it being gone. That is money that you threw out into the ether and hoped for a win with. Let it be until things are moving again.
I will tie the last two points together. This subreddit is mostly just noise. Like walking down a Brazilian boulevard in the middle of Carnival, vuvuzelas just blasting into your ears from either side. It's impossible to concentrate. I rarely find any actual information about the fuckin stock! I have to sift through thirty submissions that are just different versions of the same memes to find one comment (COMMENT, not post) that has information that I can cross-reference. The rest is a distraction. Hooting. Smooth. Brained. You know the rest.
I love the positivity and hope, but the community guidelines are clear: refrain from generic, low-effort posts. So for those who actually read this, we all appreciate the gesture, but please make room for the actual evidence to shine through, because only then are we collectively going to become more informed about what is ACTUALLY happening as opposed to getting the dopamine rush of buying more based on a bunch of noise.
