Trying to help my kid with mods to no avail

I have no errors, smapi opens, says mods are loaded and the game is running, but the game never runs. I've tried running it through steam with launch options and not through steam using the modding API shortcut. Both do the same thing. If I run vanilla it opens fine. I'm using the latest CJB cheats menu, item spawner and item price mods. Other than that it's just the items smapi installs. Please help I'm at the end of my rope.
