Why are mods in /SaltLakeCity on such a power trip?

I really appreciate this thread and whoever started it because at least here your opinions or posts are welcomed. I completely don’t get people get censored so much on /SaltLakeCity even when they don’t post anything inappropriate. Is it because the mods just favor certain posts over others? What are they trying to achieve deleting every post that doesn’t align with their views? I get so frustrated and message them only for them to respond back with such a negative attitude.
