Between a concentration in Finance, Global Operations Management (Supply Chain for Global Markets), Business Analytics, or MIS, which do you think is the most lucrative concentration? Not just in terms of market value, but also in terms of overall growth opportunity, ability to get promoted, and concrete practicality.
I Completed the following classes in CC: both econ 101a, 101b with A's, basic accounting classes with As, Human resource management class with an A and Business Selling and Negotiation with an A . Also, I'm comfortable with Business Calculus and Statistics.
Since I enjoy working with theory and modeling, I have a slight preference for more Finance and Analytics driven fields. But I heard from many of my peers that Global operations management and MIS are also well in demand in the current market. I'm just in a conundrum as to which I should pursue, since this choice will perhaps define the next 10 years of my life.
My skills are:
- Clear, effective communicator
- Comfortable with presentations
- Proficient with flow-charts, diagrams, and business planning.
- Trilingual
- Decent with computers; basic java, HTML, and basic Salesforce. (But, truly, I find myself more fulfilled when working people, rather than computers).
- Love to work with people: helping, teaching, advising, etc.
Awaiting your thoughts and suggestions,l!
