Had some kind of crazy bad attack last night, woke up at 1am in crazy pain, BM was basically water, puking into the bathtub beside me while shitting... I had enough and called an ambulance.
I just got home, after getting Zofran for the nausea and fentynl for the pain. GI met me there and wrote a script for Rifaximin and Neomycin which I'll start tomorrow. I had done 2 weeks a Rifaximin about a month ago with minor success but nothing permanent, and I'm just looking for advice and how and what to do for this to be more successful.
As a side note, discussed digestive motility with my doc, as I use lots of cannabis daily for pain/nausea and the internet tells me it slows my gut motility. GI advised to continue using it because I have diarrhea and slowing gut motility may help that, because increasing will only make it worse. Does this sound accurate?
