About me: Attached, for many years - but fairly recently both of us mutually agreed to encourage the other to start exploring intimate relationships outside of our core partnership.

Both of us have come to the realization that while we enjoy the day-to-day partnership of the other, the spark of our bedroom intimacy has been lacking, and no amount of effort seems to be bringing it back. Being evolved beings, rather than sit and blame each other, we both decided that perhaps we could both spend some time exploring intimacy with other lovers, and see where that led - both mindful of the possibility of both good and bad consequences on our relationship.

What this isn't: This obviously isn't just for anyone - many will likely cast negative judgement on our decision, or find it strange. Heck, I don't even know if something like this is possible in a society like ours, but perhaps it might be worth a try? I'm obviously not going to go out and jump into bed with just anyone - it will take time (if it even happens!) to find someone open-minded, perhaps in a similar situation, physically and emotionally compatible with me, and comfortable with the recognition that our relationship would need to respect and accept my existing one.

I'm six feet tall, about 180 lbs - both athletic and intellectual. Love reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, and generally spending time in nature. Well travelled, I like to keep up with what's going on in the world, and love learning about anything and everything. Love smiles, laughter, simple meals together (and exploring the Bay Area's nearly endless collection of small, hole-in-the-wall ethnic restaurants).

And if it ever got to that point - I'm extremely passionate in bed - love the opportunity to give even better than that of receiving. Attracted to a wide range of sizes and shapes, as long as my partner has a compatible personality, keeps reasonably healthy, and is always careful with safety.

Could this ever happen? I don't know, perhaps not - but nothing in this world is possible if you don't try.
