I recently moved to Oakland after living in SF for a few years and so far I love my new home. I find it really hard to meet women though, especially during this pandemic. I'm a bit of an introvert so I hate going to bars and clubs, and I honestly have no idea where single women hang out. Comic book stores? Fry's Electronics? Knitting stores? (Disclaimer: I don't know anything about women). And with Covid I have zero chance of meeting anyone outside my house. So I thought I'd give Reddit a try.

I'm a 42 year old SAM (single Asian male). I'm very easy-going and laid back with a sarcastic, self-deprecating sense of humor. I'm nerdy and probably not as clever as I think I am. Anyway, I'm attracted to intelligent, artistic, sarcastic, cynical women. I like the kind of girl who marches to the beat of her own drum. I'm looking for a woman who will watch movies with me on the couch, hang out with me in coffeeshops and look pretentious while secretly laughing at ourselves, ride a tandem bike and just hang out and be bored together on a Saturday night.
