First this goes out to the ladies. Listen, I genuinely understand that whenever you post, your dms get flooded. I get it.

But as someone who’s (supposedly) attractive and puts genuine effort in to writing responses, there have only been a handful of times where a message got responded to. Perhaps you found a better fit. Or weren’t into the vibe or looks. Or the message got buried amongst a bunch of other shit messages. Or you just changed your mind… or god, you just didn’t feel like it.

And I know, in life... and on the internet especially… you don’t owe an explanation to anyone!

That being said, I’d like to make the case that not responding only makes everyone’s experience worse.

While there are a likely a lot of horny and scary people on here, there are also a lot of normal and cool and incredible people. But after responding in depth to 5-10 messages without a response or even acknowledgement back, it can get super frustrating and… well… the good men go elsewhere.

If there’s any way you could acknowledge the guys that clearly put the effort in, it would make our journey through this shit hole so much more encouraging.

Also, mods, can we encourage the photo-verified flair? I think that would make a lot of users more comfortable. Like… a LOT!
