Light from the burning sun travelled from far,
It stretched and sped across a million miles,
And it lit, devoured, everything up in its path,
except the shadow of your body: only that fell on my eyes.
I felt myself, the sinews of strain and effort,
the grace, the grit, the glory of it all, the pride.
Only I knew the sacrifice it took, the hurt,
But feeling your skin, melted me like no other horror inside.
I imagined your eyes on mine, my eyes on yours,
In our most vulnerable moments of deepest pleasure.
You sit on my face and I relish what is like nectar from flower,
And slurp and drink like the last sip before I lose you forever.
I thrust, I press, I inch, I hold,
In sweat, in clack-clack, we squeal, we moan,
Fingers inter-twined, momentarily, we don't let go,
We will break, but now is infinite, gone is the barrier of bone.
Our souls are incomprehensible and godly,
Despite the infinite windows that promise a view.
I want to attempt to see through your skin, your body,
And worship and desecrate and respect and seduce.
