TL;DR: I want to experience more out of life. I want to step outside my comfort zone and say yes to more things. I want to make up for lost time and make the most of my 40s.

That's the short of it. The long is more complex. As I enter my 40s I've reflected on my 30s and I have a lot of regrets. I feel as though I lost a good deal of the past decade by giving into cynicism. I was depressed, I isolated myself from others, I drank heavily, and I neglected my health. I have made great strides in remedying all of those things but I still can't help but feel like I missed out on so much living.

More recently I had a wakeup call regarding my health. Nothing severe, but some lifestyle changes are in order. It has reminded me that this path of life only goes one way and you only get one chance. All this to say that it's lit a fire under me to make the most of this next coming decade.

I can't remember the exact date of the last time I had sex but it was sometime in 2017 or 2018. A random hookup w a woman I kind of knew. It's been so long now that I'm very insecure about jumping back into the bedroom. I'm tired of letting this insecurity stand in my way.

I'm going to start saying yes to things. More things. Lots of things. Not irresponsible things, but things that would give me cold feet in the past. I'm open to whatever comes my way, is it you?

If you've actually read this far I'm impressed. I want to meet a woman who can give me a refresher in the bedroom and maybe show me a few new tricks as well. I'm open to whatever type of situationship, but would prefer more than a one time thing.
