As the title states I have a BS in Biochemistry, graduated from Davis in December with a transcript that, honestly, is nothing impressive. I have a year of experience in an organic synthesis lab and a great reference from that but I want my life to go a different direction. I would like something more social, team based, outdoors, and moderately physical to occupy my working hours. Mixing science with that is a definite plus. I have found myself working for little pay with people who don't care about the job or their team at the California Conservation Corps and the work is unrewarding and the training very dull. So here I am, asking the good people of reddit for some help, advice, or potential leads. I'm tool and mechanically savvy and quick to learn on the job. I'm a hard worker and ready to be part of a team with a strong sense of camaraderie. I have a lot to learn and a lot of knowledge to share.
