Senior Mobile Software Engineer

InvolveCare makes it easy to get others involved in caregiving for the people we love. InvolveCare is a multiplatform service that helps caregivers create a private care network of family and friends, request help with activities like rides, tasks, and errands, and organize and record doctors' appointments among other activities. InvolveCare is funded by Healthagen, a business incubator of start-up and innovative health-tech companies based in San Francisco. In this Engineering role, you will combine your technical leadership and hands-on engineering skills to build the next generation of the product. You will also get the opportunity to evaluate the variety of database, analytics and distributed systems, make recommendations and be the first one to integrate with them. Things You'll be Doing:

• Build the mobile health application for iOS or Android
• Making intelligent choices with a focus on client and server side aspects of mobile applications.
• Build an awesome software stack that meets the short and long term needs of the product.
• Collaborate with UI/UX design and Product Management, to ensure that software solutions meet or exceed expectations.
• Network for talent; help evaluate potential team members in the recruitment process.
• Handle all technical aspects of mobile/web application deployment.

Skills Required :

• Strong mobile application development skills in iOS or Android, with prior work available to demo from appstore/playstore
• Have worked on development teams which use Agile Processes such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience in building reusable widgets and UI components
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure providers such as Amazon EC2
• Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Working experience with source control management tools, Git/BitBucket
• Experience with JSON/JSONP based RESTful web services.
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Minimum 4 years in software development with Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science degree
• Experience in building Consumer Web/Mobile products is highly needed
