Hi fellow Redditors,

I'm looking for a quiet, clean place to live once I move out of my current place in Hayes Valley. My roommates (who have lived in the house for 30 years) accepted a 100k buyout offer from the landlord, so I'm SOL and need to be out of the apartment by Aug 1 at the latest.

I'm a 24 year-old male who works along the Embarcadero at a non-profit, so I'm looking for something that's either in San Francisco proper or near public transit in Berkeley or Oakland for less than $1500 a month. I haven't had any issues with my roommates in the two years I've lived there - honestly, I pretty much keep to myself. My credit score is ~770 if that adds any sort of credibility.

I'd love to live alone, but that's not really possible for $1500 in the Bay Area. Thusly, I'm pretty open to any living situation: men, women, large house, small house, whatever.
