Hi! I'm originally from Seattle and have resided in Atlanta for the past five years. As a result of a pretty sweet promotion I'm receiving at work, my fiancee and I are Bay Area-bound at the end of March. My job will have me working in Milpitas, and while we really love the idea of Oakland, the pragmatist inside us is telling us to take whatever's affordable and in a decent area in the East Bay area.

Ideally, we're looking for a two-bedroom, one-bath home with a fenced-in backyard for our 45-pound pup for between $2,500 and $3,000. We're pretty flexible and are open to looking at one-bedroom units or homes that might not have a yard that's ideal for our dog. The only requirement I have is to have off-street parking (doesn't have to be covered or a garage), as I have a Leaf that I'll need to plug in.

I will be visiting the area from 2/1 through 3/4, and my fiancee will be joining me next weekend (the 26 through the 28th). We'd love to be able to look at homes during this time, and hopefully find our new place!
