Slow-release testosterone (as in the gels and patches and intramuscular injections used in Testosterone Replacement Therapy) is relatively well-known in its effects and side-effects. It's not really a "sex drug" per se — although many trans-men will tell you that it does certainly increase libido.
But does anyone here use doses of fast-acting (IV, oral, sublingual) forms of testosterone, "as needed" (i.e. not on a schedule), the same way you might use a drug like viagra? If so: what's it like?
Lately there have been a lot of studies into fast-acting drugs for libido (female libido especially) that have small doses of testosterone as a component. None of them are on the market yet, though. So I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the more "home made" approach to this.
