I'm running a site that usually gets 10 000 impression a day according to Google Search Console. These impressions are spread out over approximately 1000 pages.

7 days ago that number very drastically dropped to around 1 000 impressions a day instead.

I've checked all possible metrics inside Search Console but havent found any errors. Page Experience looks good, Coverage is good, no manual acions are required, etc.

The average position for the query "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die", usually is at position 10, but during just one day it has now dropped to below position 100.

Same issue can be seen for most keyword queries. The site simply cannot be found on Google unless the search query is the exact name of the domain. All pages are however still Indexed according to the Search Console.

I had a look at Bing Search Console and everything looks good there. Still averaging 10 for above query, and searching on Bing compared to Google is clearly a huge difference.

So, i looked at the commit history to see what was changed 7 days ago. The only thing i did that could possibly be related to this is that i added some Google Structured Data for Reviews, adding a few reviews for each sub page. At first i had a JSON parsing error in those reviews, but that was fixed within an hour.

The structured data has now been validated in googles validator tool and everything looks fine.

At the same time i resubmitted the sitemap in Google Search Console to make google reIndex my pages.

Could the above resubmission of a sitemap be an issue here?

Any other ideas on where i can start debugging this?
