Website Redesign and URL changes - Need advice

Hi all,

I have been tasked to redesign a website from a Volusions platform and converting it over to Shopify for a smoother shopping cart, the monthly cost and so on.

My problem is that when the co-worker or owner put the website together, he did not use SEO friendly URL's and they are for example 1112.html for this CMS eCommerce website. Would you suggest changing the URL's over?

Do you have any recommendations as the website has a good organic ranking and that's not something I want to lose. Most of the content is going to stay the same beside some product removal. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
