"A blog post should be at least X words long" looks like a norm, nobody disagrees with.
And according to Semrush Blog, the X is from 1,500 to 2,500.
But is that a real case?
I see many blog posts that stretch length by stuffing unnecessary lines, words, or even jokes.🙁
I prefer concise articles that deliver information in an effective, efficient way.
If I was Google, I'd value those articles more.
So, my question is would a longer blog post rank higher than a shorter article with the same quantity of information? I'd love to know what you think.
