Recommendations for a novice hiker

Hey so I’m actually a local to the Kings Canyon/Sequoia area but sadly have only been to the parks a handful of times, and never been to Hume. (My fam never did very “outdoorsy” things growing up.) I booked a campsite at Sentinel for the weekend after next and want to go on a hike or two but I’m not in the best shape. Any recommendations for trails that are relatively easy, plenty of shade, and offer great sights? I have the All Trails app so I’ll bookmark your suggestions. Thanks in advance!
