Lurching reverse Deadbolt?

My Deadbolt lurches in reverse (even first run out of the box) as soon as the battery gets even slightly low. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems worst on H, M or L less so. Although I always try to run it on H I've heard the other settings are bad for it. Forward and the servo work just fine. Maybe ESC?
