So I’m starting to put all the pieces of my new build together, and I just got the front axle all buttoned up. It’s a Super 8 that I dropped Exo RC U-joint half shafts into and running stock knuckles. The axle spins butter smooth, but now my steering knuckles feel tight and don’t completely move freely, there’s definitely some resistance as compared to how they turned with the stock CVD’s. The knuckles are on the correct sides, facing the correct way and the bearings have been removed from the ends of the axle shafts, per Exo’s suggestion. Do they need to break in a bit or something? I didn’t have any issues when dropping brass knuckles onto my stock axles on my current rig. I know this isn’t a super common set up, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
