Plane spawn question

I'm running in SP right now (cause I cant connect to the servers due to the "connection lost" issue) and i havent seen a single plane spawn and visited all the airfields multiple times. I have the car sliders cranked up but there is no slider with plane on it. Is there a secret place I havent checked or is there a secret slider I dont know about? Btw this is the same with the RHIB boats been up the coast 3 times not one :(
