Neck labels + bleeding through shirt

Tried printing some neck labels this evening, no matter how light of pressure I used the ink is showing through the back of shirt. I’m using water based ink (grey) on black shirts. Would using plastisol solve this problem since it’s thicker/sits on top of the fabric?
