Hi, I am a wrench turner by trade making the transition to system management/IT stuff, so pardon the improper usages of words.
Little background of my stuff I am trying to do:
I have a several servers and their VM's needing update which I could do via WSUS.
I was wanting to see if it's possible to use SCCM to keep those devices up to date, but some of those devices are on different networks (like 192.168.1 and 10.10.10 and 172.XX).
I understand that SCCM can be deployed to a single domain via AD but have not seen a lot of documentation for multiple domains, maybe I haven't done enough digging yet.
Goal:
To be able to have a central location to manage the various networked servers and their VMs to patch and update, increase security via defender updates, and get server statics and error logs reported. These will be on their own LAN with no outside connection to the interwebs.
Just some homelab wannbie that wants to learn and apply :) If anyone could help me locate valuable resources, that'd be amazing :)
