Howdy -
We have clients running a handful of builds of Office 365 Pro Plus that were deployed with Click-to-Run and would like to eventually be able to upgrade them to the latest M365 client via SCCM. I've configured my SUP to download Office updates and Office Updates are present in the Office 365 Updates section of the Software Library. I've configured client settings on a test collection to Enable management of the Office 365 client.
The test client that I'm trying to upgrade is running Version 1810 (Build 11001.20074 Click-To-Run) on the Monthly Channel. I've tried to download and deploy and handful of the Microsoft 365 Apps Update Feature Builds (2203, 2201 etc) but none of them get installed by the client. The updateshandler log shows zero actionable updates and the update never shows up in Software Center.
I do see two separate categories of updates in Office 365 Updates ... Office 365 Client Update and Microsoft 365 Apps Update. I'm assuming the Microsoft 365 Apps updates are the ones I should be deploying if I want to upgrade to the latest client.
I'm probably completely missing something. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
