Nintendo DS on RK3326 devices. What's the most optimal way to play?

I'll go ahead and pre-empt that one guy who is going to be like "The best way to play DS is on an actual DS".

I have a bunch of devices already, but I just pulled out my Anbernic RG351V tonight. I bought it 2 years ago and ended up not using it very much and it was basically just stored away in a drawer for the last 18 months or so.

It's currently running 351Elec, a build from November 2021. It has a version of DraStic on it, but everything I have tried running on it tonight runs like complete garbage. Not even full speed with frameskip on. I don't have any other RK3326 devices, so I haven't really done a lot of experimentation with the different custom firmwares. Can someone recommend a custom firmware that has good performance for DS?
