Hello! What do you consider your "purpose" for your practice?

Post Body

I've been interested in having a practice for a few years, I just tend to be on and off with actually practicing. I find it hard to implement new habits, especially due to mediocre mental health and low energy on my part.

Anyway, I'm interested in learning why everyone practices what they do. Maybe if I'm able to implement a practice as a combo of having a hobby caring for my mental health satisfying my spiritual needs, I might be able to make it a more consistent part of my life.

Some things I think might be part of an altar, if I made one: Something celebrating my trans-ness (plan to do research on gender non-conforming deities, maybe a little flag) and my bisexuality; definitely a mirror because this is all about me baby!; a small bowl of crystals because I think they're pretty; a salt lamp because I like the aesthetic; a scented candle for sure; incense. Any other ideas?
