Freezing

It seems like every few days my phone will partially freeze.
For example my phone will freeze on the lock screen. I'm able to bring up the turn phone off and restart option but it won't allow me to click and restart the phone. I'm stuck holding down the volume down and power key to force restart. I recently reset my phone but I'm still dealing with the issue.
Should I be calling my carrier or samsung for a replacement yet?
