Running+Hand to Paw Combat
Post Body

So I'm in my early 20s and have been doing 2 mile runs in the 100 degree heat to recover from a year of being really sick. However, last week during one of my runs I was charged by some chick's dog and it tried to bite my groin. So, I engaged the dog in Hand to Paw combat and gave it a right hook to the jaw, then a roundhouse kick to its stomach, followed by another more powerful right hook which sent it running away with a yelp. I train martial arts often so I didn't injure myself in this duel. Will this improve my running ability? Should I run on that same street to improve my stamina and help me recover back to my 15 mile standard? Or does this make me a less efficient and effective runner?
