Player Count: 3. Maybe 4 if I think it could work.
Duration: 2-5 hour HARD CAP (Part 2 would most likely be the following day at 19:00 UTC)
In Game Location: The Emerald City
Game Theme: You Just Can't Win Them All, But That Doesn't Mean You Shouldn't Try
Threat: Rogues Gallery of angry, dangerous people
Prerequisites: Accept my table rules and rulings as well as Hub Rules, have a working mic, try not to shout over each other, roll with the dice if you think it'll tell an interesting story, be ready to hit the ground running.
My table is 18 . Expect darkness where the light doesn't shine or when it is swallowed up. There will be a content warning discussed before the run starts and consent will be asked for from each player. Traffic Light system will be in effect.
WARNING: This run will be beginning IN MEDIAS RES. You'll need to be quick on your feet, and roll with the punches. This run may test you as runners, but have faith that you'll be rewarded.
P.S.: this is Run 2 of the Puyallup Election miniplot. Actions and decisions will affect future runs in this series but don’t let that stop you from having a good time and enjoying our collaborative fiction. Players are encouraged to become invested however they’d like.

This run seemed simple enough and the payout was worth the trouble. Grab a guy, take him to the Johnson, get paid. Hell, the guy didn't seem like that much of a threat; an accountant for some shell firm in Puyallup City. His security setup was above average lowlife gangers but you've blown so many of these drumheads away in your day, you didn't think anything of it. Your Johnson did everything digital, except for the drop off. He did that in person and with few perps with him. Some shanty dingy bar out of a strip mall in western Puyallup near the Fort Lewis border. J looked clean...too clean.
You were certain that you weren't followed. You did everything right. That didn't stop the bullets from shredding the glass and the door...and turning your Johnson into Swiss cheese along with his guns for hire. Your payday is laying on the floor, mortally wounded and bleeding out fast. That's when you see it - hidden just underneath his collar: the telltale elaborate and elegant tattoos of a Yakuza man. He looks at you, a pleading look in his eyes. Just as the lights go out in them, he says two words:
"L-le...Leah. Du...Voir...."

OOC: your sheet, your handle on Discord, whether you're worth GMP or not, any hard limits (time, themes, etc).
IC: Respond however you'd like to the above OR What did your character do to contribute to the success of the original job that may have blinded you to foreseeing this, or did you foresee this and insist on meeting elsewhere, only for the Johnson to act like Johnsons do: self entitled and thinking they're in charge. Or something else: IDK, I like reading about characters.
Update: by popular request, I’ve changed the start time to 21:00 UTC in order to make it easier for people to app.
