The rains return to Seattle, bringing with them a heavy set fog that gives hiccups to air and ground traffic. It’s fitting for the mood; there’s no new news out of Snohomish and an air of silence hangs over the area. You’re not worried too much about that. You head out for a walk to enjoy the early morning crisp air, taking in the cleanser filter before the smog resumes later in the day.
Your legs take you to one of the parks-well, one of the safer ones. While trodding on the promenade, your commlink chirps and an ARO pops up. New job posting on the Datahaven. Curiosity has you plop onto a bench, jostling awake the homeless person who was sleeping nearby. She grumbles and rolls over, content to return to sleeping. Mindful of security risks, you ensure that your fellow meta humans don’t read the message you just received:
<<Bonjour. A while ago, some of you were hired to protect someone that I was once close to. Well I haven’t seen him in a long time and I’m concerned. The nature of this absence requires a subtle and sensible approach, as there are more eyes looking at my company than I would care to have. Upon accepting this contract, you’ll receive access to a private room on your Datahaven for us to discuss matters further.>>
<<Bonne chance, Le Directeur>>

Runners from Murder on the Siberian Express will have initial priority for story reasons; all are able to apply though
For a response, you can reply in character to the message. Or tell me of a time that your character was disturbed by a discovery, something that truly rattled them. Or don’t; I don’t pick based off of responses, I do enjoy reading them however.
Reminders: Actions have consequences, the memories of dragons and corporations are long. Shadowrun is also a setting where bad things happen to good people and the dark side of metahumanity is shown. Be aware that this run, like others, will have mature content within.
Will pick the team 24 hours prior
