Congratulations on your new picking position and welcome to our company! Pay no mind to the strange nature of the following rules but do follow them diligently.

1. Shift starts at 17:00 and clocking out is at 2:00, breaks are divided in multiple groups and the assignments to said groups are on the foreman’s office window. Failure to clock out on time will result in events which the company is not responsible for.

2. Please keep this workplace as clean as you can. Your coworkers will thank you :)

3. You will be assigned a pallet truck on your first shift. This truck is only yours to use, and your trainer will show you where the mechanic shop is should it run out of battery or ever face technical difficulties.

4. This pallet truck, as practical as it is, is significantly slower than the average person’s top sprint speed. Keeping this information in mind can and will save your life.

5. Steel capped shoes are mandatory for obvious safety reasons, if they were not provided to you, please speak to the foreman as soon as possible.

6. Company policy stipulates that the boxes are NEVER to be opened, no matter what sound or movement comes from the inside. Content of said boxes is also strictly confidential.

7. As a follow up to rule one, no overtime is granted to picking or expedition staff. If anyone proposes overtime to you, that person isn’t staff, or a person. simply refuse.

8. If a box you pick seems empty by it’s weight, or on the contrary impossibly heavy, toss it as far as you can and act according to rule 4.

9. You may have noticed there is a holster bolted unto the backrest of your truck with a pistol in it. Per regulation, there is only one bullet in the chamber.

10. At some point, you might notice that no one has been around you for a while. Should this last more than five minutes, use the pistol. If it’s been ten, it’s too late.

11. Minor and major illusory events might happen in neighbouring alleys in the form of sounds and sights. Should those events cross into your alley, apply rule number 4.
