First of all, I love the game and what it brings so far. I've encountered (knowingly) only one bug and I wouldn't know what caused it precisely. I've had it happen two times in 8 or playthroughs with multiple regions in two different ways. Sometimes when a villager moves between regions they get "stuck" in between. They never die and cant be interacted with. If the villager does die (like poison) time freezes and even though you can interract with characters, changing speed settings doesn't cause time to advance.
An improvement I'd suggest is a small thing with unfaithfullness. Couples flirt constantly (good!) but on big maps its hard to keep track of all the couples when you have some who are unfaithfull. Yet, all flirt notifications have the eye icon. I'd love it if the eye is shown when an unfaithfull flirt takes place, while still showing 'normal' flirts without the eye.
I love the necronomicon, dragon and Excalibur, even though all maps have their own flavour somehow this is an extra layer you can use if you want. I'd be honest and say I'm not looking for a balanced challenging experience, you can just drop all your villagers in a cave and win. Still, I'd like to see more overpowered stuff you can win the map with outside of your archetype selection. Selecting your archetype is more like how you plan to engage with the big win to make it do the work for you in this case. Not every map needs it, I like the map with the elves and humans at war, but more of what's already there in this case would be good in my opinion.
The drama your forced crimes or murders inflict are great, we're the villain after all. I'd love to see the mood mechanic expanded upon. I know that will happen since it's early access of course, but still I wanted to mention it to confirm it's a great part of the game.
All of this is not meant as critisism but as feedback, I love what's brewing here :)
