Is rucking high impact?

I'm new here, as the title states, is rucking high impact? For back story, I was getting into hiking and climbing, but suffered an unrelated accident which has severely reduced the bending capacity of my knees, I've been told I can't do anything high impact, so jogging for cardio is out now, I was wondering if I could replace it with rucking? I should probably ask my doctor this honestly, but interested none the less. Cheers
