Azir wasn’t a huge fan of the process, but he was in need of a few new assassins, and this was the easiest way to sift out the weak ones. So, he—a tall, grown, slightly tanned man with a charming face and long black hair—had stabbed and poisoned his way into the palace of a local nobleman to watch his acolytes complete another test. Sitting at the head table with a polite but confident smile on his face, he let his emerald green eyes wander over the crowd watching the noblemen and guards all over the ballroom. Anticipating the gruesome murder he had commissioned, he was looking for the assassins he had hired to each kill the same person in their own way. With cold business in mind, he observed some of the assassins moving among the guests or staff—some clearly noticeable to a trained eye, while others excelled at hiding in plain sight, barely noticeable even to him. His gaze stopped at a young woman in a puffy ball gown, chatting and laughing with the men who stood around her, all vying for a dance with such a beautiful flower. After a few seconds, he recognized her face, shocked that his favorite candidate was capable of playing a gorgeous lady so convincingly that it took him a while to discern her true identity. This revelation would open a whole new array of opportunities for both of them. Even if she wouldn’t be hired as an assassin (which seemed unlikely at the moment), he could still offer her a position as his bodyguard. And secretly, he hoped to work closely with her—she not only looked stunningly but had also displayed incredible intelligence and skills he valued. Not to mention, he found himself caring for her more than he should for an acolyte in his cruel games.

Hope this introduction piqued your interest. With this prompt, I am hoping for a story-heavy RP set in a darker medieval fantasy world (so species and magic are up for debate). I would be playing as a man in his twenties who manages the information and assassination part of an underground organization with great success. Surprisingly, he starts caring for your character as they get closer, eventually evolving into a romantic relationship with potentially kinky aspects. I would love for a more or less wholesome relationship between our characters as they go along with their lives in this darker setting.
