Is DV carried out for all positions involving Subs?
My goal is to apply as a WESM and take my career from there as its something ive been longing to do. My fitness isnt bad...i can run the 2.4k in my given time.
Im currenly in around just under £10k debt which i can manage to clear. Any ideas if i apply now or wait till i clear my debt (7/8months) as i really want to start my career in the navy however ive just moved back home (been 2 weeks) after 4 years away and my life at home is pretty bad dealing with a toxic family.
If i chose to apply while i was still paying this amount off will it affect my application and DV clearence and would i be rejected on the basis of this if i dont clear it before applying?
How long does it take from registering interest to getting myself on a base (past Raleigh) and onto a boat.
I really have so much more to give and truly feel the navy will be able to bring out the best in me (obviously with me putting in the hardwork). I truly want a career on the Subs and notice not many people stick it out however for me not having a partner or kids i reckon is the best position for me to be in to make a career for myself.
TIA for everyone's time taken to read this post and i appreciate everyones replies.
