With this AA scheme does anyone know if you get the choice to choose whether you'd like to go WESM or MESM.

Ideally I would like to go in as an Officer as I feel like I can offer longevity in the role as I have no commitments out on civie street-downside is I'm lacking a few GCSEs I have a total of 4 GCSEs at Grade C and don't hold a degree furthest I've gone is HNC/HND in Computing.

Is a degree mandatory for applying as a WEOSM?

If I join as a rating, would I be able to gain the qualifications alongside needed to commision as an Officer in my case for example if im short of 2 GCSEs and a degree.

That being said as a rating do you still get sea time if you don't commission*. I'm really after somewhere I can work and grow long term I had a plan of 18-20 years. Is it possible to have a length of career as such if your not commissioned.

*elaborating on this point. Is it a case If once you reach a certain point as a rating will the Navy dispose of me as I don't meet the requirements to further my career

I notice there is an age restriction 17-25 on AA scheme. I'm 31 going to be 32 next year. Is this almost guarantee that I'm ineligible or is there some leniency?

As a ETWESM what does the training pipeline look like?

How long does it take to qualify as a WESM?

Could someone share an insight as to what a a typical day in the life of a ETWESM and WESM is like on both base port and deployment?

Thank you for taking the time to read through this.

All of your answers are appreciated.
