Does a caution bar one from joining the Navy? I rang up my local police force and they've told me that a caution is not a conviction.
It was over something very silly and out of character for myself. I was exploited by a employment agency. I was supposed to be on weekly pay however they chose every excuse not to pay my wages all the while i had living expenses rent etc and i acted out of character and removed a tablet from the premises (had no intention when i went into branch) and threw it in the bin outside out of frustration. They did end up paying my wages 3 weeks late where I was supposed to be on weekly paid. However due to certain factors (councils collecting bins) I was unable to go back and rectify my mistake.
This is something totally out of character for myself and had been told the matter would be solved with no conviction just a caution and fine.
I really want a life in the Navy and don't want this to stand in the way.
