Well I feel like a idiot but it is a happy mistake
Post Body

A few months back I posted that my bike was making noise and it felt like I'm the valve train. It progressed and got very bad. I suspected burnt valve but didn't know. B so I did the research and then did a valve adjustment. Managed to successfully do it, and save $ 650 us. And when I got done bike started up sounded great, for 45 sec. And then it started with a metal on metal noise and I couldn't let it run more then another 30 secs before I turned it off out of fear that it would do more damage. When I was inside I found nothing that could make that noise and everything looked tiptop. Even managed to use the old gasket and didn't have any leaks. But my new gear was it was something bottom end, rod or something. So I parked it, didn't have the ungodly amount of money the dealer would charge to check it out. 2 months later I'm talking to a friend and say fuck it and start it up for him to hear. Immediately he's like," hey, that isn't supposed to be wiggling is it, referring to my exhaust flanges. And low and behold my headers were all bolts not even finger tight. The right more then the left. I tighten them all up and no more freaking noise. I feel super stupid cause I go thru the bike every couple weeks and tighten everything up. But always missed checking them. So even though it's a dumb mistake at least I figured it out before I spent $1000 , for a dealer to tell me I'm stupid. That is all. Bike is running phenomenal tho.
