I requested a sitter. She said she was available to boarding for the one night I requested. Only, she then proceeded to message me stating that she wanted the payment on a different platform that isn’t Rover since they take 20%. Only, I’m a bit sketched out by that. I’ve requested a sitter before for 1 night only, and never did they ask me to pay them from a different platform instead of rover. This is my first time with this sitter and my third time using Rover. I just wanted to know if this is something people do and I am just overreacting or am I right to think that it’s sketchy.
