I hired a house sitter for a long weekend but don’t have a guest bedroom, any recommendations?
Post Body

I’m a rover sitter so it’s weird being on the other side for once, but I have a wedding to attend out of town in late May. I’ve already found someone for the job, but I don’t have a guest bedroom. I did tell her this and she seemed fine with it, but any suggestions about her sleeping arrangements? I do not mind her using my bed at all, but will she? I’ve only done a few housesits as I mainly do boarding in my own home but when I have done them they’ve always had a guest bedroom. I, on the other hand, have my bedroom, a foster kitten room, and a boarding room. I feel like I would personally feel odd sleeping in the pet parents own bed.

Here are my options:

-My own bedroom (there is a cat door on this door for my cats ((7)) to come in and out freely)

-My roommates room, which is the finished basement, and she has a cat down there that this woman is also caring for. My roommate is my cousin so she’s going to the same wedding. This option gives her more privacy and quiet, I have 10 animals as opposed to the 1 cat.

-A blow up mattress in the boarding room which will also offer privacy. I could definitely make this into a makeshift guest bedroom if I broke down kennels and moved some things around. There’s already a small couch and desk in there. But I’m overthinking the blow up mattress part, would that seem insulting?

Thoughts? What would you prefer?

I usually sleep in the owners bed, it's where the critters are most comfortable.
