Hello. I have used Rover a bit and Iβd like to get some advice from you all. For some some context, I have an adorable 1 year old Golden Doodle named Bella who is absolutely perfect despite barking quite a bit, being mouthy, humping, counter-surfing, and jumping up on everybody and everything. We are obsessed with her and Iβm sure every Rover sitter is too! A few questions:
Can I require all my sitters to send me copies of their IDs that I plan on keeping in a file in my home? Recently I had an unknown car pull into my driveway and because of that I hired a professional security team and now require sitters to give them their IDs.
I also have multiple outdoor and indoor security cameras, including in the guest bedroom. Should I hire a 2nd security team to monitor these 24/7 so that I know Bella is safe in the sitters hands?
One of the Rover sitters I reached out to recently said that they would need to charge me more if I wanted them to stay with my dog all day and night without leaving. How dare they and can I report them???
Bella also follows a strict routine of 6am wake up, 4 walks a day, has a complex feeding regimen and I would like multiple photos and updates daily. How can I find someone to follow her routine and not fuck it up for less than $60?
We also have a cat but heβs easy and they wonβt ever see him so am I able to just leave him off any bookings?
How can I find a Rover sitter who will be available whenever I need them and also double as my personal slave?
Thank you π π
