Dog barely ate for the whole sit and now I’m paranoid she lost weight. Any words of wisdom?
Post Body

I’ve been boarding a dog since Tuesday and she’s being picked up tomorrow. She’s pretty small and old, and she’s been very plucky about her food during her stay. I obviously told the owner about it and they basically said she’d be fine and she’d eat when she was hungry. She didn’t eat NOTHING but she ate so much less than she was supposed to. I’m worried that because she’s so small she will have lost noticeable weight or something and I’m so paranoid that the owner will think I did a bad job because of it. Like I said, I communicated with her about it but I still feel really unsettled. The dog has been doing fine, she has plenty of energy and at worst has been a little grouchy (mostly just when I wasn’t paying attention to her though lol). I just can’t help but feel stressed that the owner is gonna freak out when she sees how much food is left or something like that.

How have y’all dealt with this in the past? Did things turn okay?? I’m so paranoid that I’m going to get a bad review. There was nothing more I could really do so I’m just at a loss here :-/
