Possibly a random and/or unimportant question, but I'm curious about it! I don't think I'll ever purchase a dog from breeders, but I'm a little obsessed with less common dog breeds. Not necessarily anything crazy unusual, but just less common. Almost every request for a purebred dog I get is for either a french bulldog or a husky (neither of which I accept). The only request I've gotten for a purebred that was an unusual breed was a Barbet, which I actually had to google because I had never heard of the breed! I accept breeds of all sizes and I'm so curious to meet some breeds that I haven't encountered before, so I'm curious if y'all run into them that often. Obviously me asking this question isn't gonna make my inbox flood with Borzois, Tibetan Mastiffs, and Norwegian Lundehunds, but I can't help my curiosity.
So, how often do you run into uncommon dog breeds? If you've cared for any, what were the most unusual/interesting ones you encountered?
